“Before and Now” - Track 10 from Water Finds a Way by Robert Jürjendal

Before and now

Being in the present is walking what we left behind. The past is a ladder built out of sounds of notes and scales in canonic patterns. This song is defined by a strong sentence as a starting point and functions as a reminder of the fact that memories build up what we live through by repeating and letting us understand that the notes we have played of this melody defining life are just memories. There is value in letting go of some of the past, but also, there is value in looking at what we have left for it sets us here now.  - Miguel Noya
